About Finchley Nurseries
Finchley Nurseries Garden Centre, formed in 1929 in Fursby Avenue, Finchley, before moving to its present site in 1933. Originally just a nursery growing crops for wholesale markets, over the last 40 years we have built up into a very
successful garden centre and we are now in our 91st year of business!
Set in a lovely countryside location, we still believe plants should be a garden centres main business, and as such we specialise in bedding plants, perennials and shrubs.
However, we also stock a selection of quality garden furniture, pots, ornaments and other garden related products. Still run by members of the founders family, now in its 4th generation, Finchley Nurseries is a unique garden centre - Pay us a visit and see for yourself!
Our popular "Cut your own Dahlia" field is available from approximately
July until the frosts come. Come and see the vast variety of the dahlia flower and enjoy the afternoon picking your own flowers. Quite a different day out and children love it too!
Christmas time at Finchley Nurseries is busy with the sale of top class Christmas trees and indoor plants such as poinsettias, cyclamen and azaleas. on top of this our gift shop becomes the perfect place to find a Christmas related gift, even if its for yourself!
